Finally, We’re Here!

This is how it all began . . .

We are Clan Blacklanderz®! Black folks who love intellectual television, such as Outlander on Starz, and who will bring more kin (and others) to The Gathering. If you haven’t seen the trailer for S1, look no further.

Synopsis

In 1945, after serving as a British Army nurse in World War II, Claire Randall is enjoying a second honeymoon in Scotland with husband Frank, an MI6 officer, looking forward to a new career as an Oxford historian.

Suddenly, Claire is transported back to 1743 and into a mysterious world where her freedom and life are threatened. To survive, she marries Jamie Fraser, a strapping Scots warrior with a complicated past and a disarming sense of humor. A passionate relationship ensues, and Claire is caught between two vastly different men in two inharmonious lives. “Outlander” is adapted from the best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon.

People disappear all the time.

Young girls run away from home.
Children stray from their parents and are never seen again.
Housewives take the grocery money and a taxi to the train station.

Most are found, eventually.

Disappearances, after all, have explanations.

Usually. ~ Claire

Trailer 2 – Love Forces a Person to Choose.

Love forces a person to choose.
You do things you couldn’t imagine you could do before.
There’s no room for sentiment here. ~ Jenny

  3. Saw you in the discussions on Outlander BTS, and saw a reference to this site on Karmen’s Outlander Anatomy site. As a 65 yr old woman who also loves Outlander, I appreciate those discussions between mature, thoughtful women, who don’t mind an adult beverage or two! Appreciate your website as well and look forward to future postings! Kimber
