Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson has signed a new two-picture acting deal with Netflix. The partnership will see Henson star in two upcoming Netflix films, continuing her successful collaboration with the streamer.
In addition to acting, Henson will also serve as a producer on each project under her production banner TPH Entertainment.
Straw, which premiered in June 2025, marked Henson’s first lead role in a Netflix original. The film, which received praise from critics and fans, spent five weeks on the Global Top 10 Movies (English), racking up 106.3M views.
