The new Channel 4 drama features a cast of exciting up-and-coming talent – here is what you need to know about Simona Brown, who plays Tess.

Who is Simona Brown?

Up-and-coming British actress Simona Brown has already starred in several hit dramas before joining the cast of Channel 4’s Kiss Me First.

Since training at the Identity School of Acting in London, she has had recurring roles in flagship BBC series The Casual Vacancy, as Gaia Bawden, and The Night Manager, playing Grace.

Simona has also appeared in ITV’s HIM, British-American mystery Guilt and the 2015 rom-com movie Man Up.

The rising star seemed ideally suited to a role in Kiss Me First, which centres around immersive gaming, describing in a promo interview with Channel 4 how she’d been a huge fan of The Sims.

She said: “I can totally see the appeal, because I can remember spending hours, days, on Sims, creating my own little world that I could control.

“I used to spend days without brushing my teeth in the summer holidays, playing Sims.”
