In this episode, Jamie and Claire repeatedly show how they respect one another by not rushing to begin their wedding night. Instead they take time to get to know each other better with some good conversation.


Decisions (Season 1, Episode 11)

Once Jamie learns the truth about Claire’s origins, he gives her the decision to return to her own time. His selflessness and her unwillingness to leave prove they’re meant to be.
