K-Dramas on Netflix

I’ve been on a binge watch lately. I wanted to watch something different, other than the regular shows on TV or cable. So, I dove into K-Dramas on Netflix. I’ve watched the ones that are English dubbed.

Ooh-wee, when I tell you they are fa-bu-lous, highly entertaining with masterful storytelling, it is not an overstatement. And, the soundtracks/playlists on YouTube add even more flavor. I’ve included one from the show. Some of them allow you to turn on the close caption that is in English.

This list is by no means complete, just some of the ones I’ve watched and really enjoyed. ~ V

Alchemy of Souls

Alchemy of Souls features two parts, spanning 30 episodes in total. A period K-Drama with a side of fantasy, it follows the story of mages who have the ability to move their souls across bodies using a forbidden magic spell that gives the series its name.

 Mr. Plankton

A man plagued by misfortune and his ex, the unluckiest bride-to-be, are forced to accompany one another on the final journey of his life.

The King’s Affection

The story is set during the Joseon Dynasty when twins were considered an ominous sign. When the Crown Princess Consort gives birth to twins, an order is sent to kill the daughter. To save her, she is secretly sent out of the palace.

  1. Thanks for the recommendations! I hadn’t considered watching them before, but now I’m definitely curious.
