Netflix has assembled an exciting cast for a heist thriller from “City of God” and “The Two Popes” director Fernando Meirelles.
Denzel Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Daisy Edgar-Jones will all star in “Here Comes the Flood” for the streaming service.
Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria announced the news during the streamer’s Upfronts presentation on Wednesday.
The film hails from writer Simon Kinberg (“Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” upcoming “Star Wars” trilogy), who is also producing the film alongside Audrey Chon for his Genre Films banner, as is Meirelles. Samson Mucke is executive producing.
