If there’s one thing that the cast of Outlander enjoys, it’s meeting their fans. And a few lucky fans got the opportunity to meet their favorite Scottish Highlanders — or those that play them on TV — when the Outlander in the City event took place this weekend.
The brainchild of industry professional Liz Mercado, who was responsible for last year’s fan event that featured star Graham McTavish (who plays Jamie’s uncle, Dougal MacKenzie, and can now be found on the show Preacheras the Saint of Killers), Outlander in the City was ambitious enough to bring together not one but several cast members from past and present seasons.
But the surprise of the evening came from Wil Johnson, who plays Dr. Abernathy, and made a surprise appearance at Outlander in the City. He reportedly “fangirled” when he met Duncan Lacroix, who plays Murtagh Fitzgibbons, and spent the night taking pictures with eager fans.
